My Favorite Blog
There are many blogs that I thoroughly enjoy reading. Several of these blogs are in my blogroll. I know if you take the time to visit them you will blessed, encouraged, and challenged. With that said, I want to highlight my favorite blog: Baptist|twentyone. B21 promotes conversation about the future of Baptist life while honoring those who have paved the way for this generation. The purpose of B21 according to their blog:
Baptist21 exists to contend for “the faith once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 3). We embrace our past, believing this faith has been proclaimed in our Southern Baptist heritage. We work in the present, believing the Kingdom effectiveness of Southern Baptists will be in proportion to our fidelity to the Gospel. We cooperate for the future, believing the only hope for the people of the world is the Gospel of King Jesus.
Blogger: Why Now?
Today, my beautiful wife and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary. I know this seems to be an unusual day to start a blog. However, we were able to have great quality time today talking about our life together. Much of our conversation had to do with the topic of changing the world by leaving a legacy. We believe the two most important things we have in this world are faith and family. These are the two areas of life that we have a platform to contribute the most influence. Our hope is that through this blog we can help, encourage, and inspire those who read it. Our plan is to blog about the things that give us hope, make us laugh, and lead us forward. We love to cook, worship, and spend time together. We pray you will enjoy our future posts.
