William James, the father of Psychology, stated that “there is nothing so absurd but if you repeat it often enough people will believe it.” There are leaders on the national scene who seem to carry this as their vision statement. Many Americans fear the direction in which our country is headed in the future, especially the future of our children and grandchildren. Some of this fear comes from the fact that they have been told half-truths so long they no longer know where this great country of ours has come from and thus where it is going. I thought this would be a good time to hear a fresh word from our founding fathers.
